About Lana |

A city slicker at four, Lana knew that she was an unusual girl! She practiced riding and roping skills whenever possible and frequently she went right through her mother’s day lilies. Lana spent her childhood working on a small farm-tending animals like pigs, cows, and chickens; growing vegetables; and weeding the flower and veggie patches. As a college student, she worked detailing cars, cleaning, painting, and repairing rental units, and doing yard work. She worked summers as a recreation leader and athletic coach. As a young 20 something, she managed 52 properties in Seattle and brought units up to current housing codes as the property manager. She then spent many years working as an electrical drafter, technical illustrator, lead hydraulics illustrator, and manager at Boeing.
